Despite chilly and rainy weather, the Motorcycle Classics Ride and Show at the 2011 Road America Vintage Motorcycle Classic in Elklhart Lake, Wis., attracted some stunning classic motorcycles. Making the trip all the way from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, was Robert Westercamp, who entered two absolutely beautiful Ducatis.
The older of the two was a 1962 Ducati Diana Café Racer, which featured a Diana engine in a Monza frame.
Sitting next to the Diana and attracting a lot of attention was a 1971 Ducati 350 Silver Shotgun, which ended up winning Best Restored in the European category. Robert reports that when he got this bike it was a basket case, but complete. We think you’ll agree that this Silver Shotgun earned every bit of its Best Restored trophy.
